Abby Petterson, MA, RCC, CCC

Abby Petterson holds a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. She is both a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACCRCC #2344) and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCACCC #9195). Abby is also a trained Collaborative Divorce Coach.

Abby has extensive experience and specialized training in the treatment of Eating Disorders, Separation and Divorce Counselling and Coaching and Family Mediation. She brings compassion, sensitivity and non-judgmental support to those struggling with such as issues as unhealthy relationships with food and eating disorders; relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, and for those going through the difficult transition of separation and/or divorce.

Abby uses her expertise in mediation, communication skills, family dynamics, child development and conflict resolution to promote a more co-operative separation and divorce. The focus is on continued learning, growth and change as clients move from pain and uncertainty to new possibilities.

Karen White, M.Ed. RCC

Karen White holds a Masters of Education degree and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Karen uses a strong foundation in family systems, solution focused and narrative therapy. She has a diverse background in counselling, teaching and business.

Karen’s area of focus is with couples who struggle with their communication and find themselves distancing from one another or arguing on a regular basis. She possess expertise in relationship difficulties, marital conflict, grief and loss, parenting, communication skills, life transitions and stress.
