Child Specialist

A Child Specialist is a licensed mental health practitioner with specialized training and expertise in the area of collaborative divorce, mediaton, family dynamics and child development. A Child Specialist focuses exclusively on the children's concerns.  A Child Specialist in the Collaborative process gives a "voice" for the children , bringing the childrens interests to parents and their divorce coaches to help put together a parenting plan.

Abby Petterson is an experienced Child Specialist.  She has worked with children of all ages to create a safe environment for children to express their needs and process the change in their family.
